The 1953 Skylark was produced to commemorate Buick's 50th anniversary. There were 1,690 units of this limited edition variation that would come off the Roadmaster line in convertible form only. The Skylark featured Borrani spoke wheels and the new 322 cid V-8 but unlike the other Buicks it had no ventiports.
